Clay alternative: LinkFetch vs Clay

Clay is a spreadsheet for go-to-market data: you enrich a list from 150+ data providers, research each row with its AI agent Claygent, and push the result to your CRM or a sending tool. LinkFetch is narrower: the AI interface to your LinkedIn. If your Clay tables mostly exist to find people on LinkedIn, qualify them and feed a LinkedIn tool like HeyReach, LinkFetch does that whole loop in one place, asked for in Claude and priced per request.

The short answer

Choose Clay if

  • You need work emails and phone numbers for your lists
  • You want to combine many data providers in one waterfall
  • Your lists have to sync into a CRM or data warehouse
  • You have someone who enjoys building and maintaining tables

Choose LinkFetch if

  • Your Clay workflow ends in LinkedIn outreach anyway
  • You'd rather ask Claude than build a table and map columns
  • You want LinkedIn hiring signals and outreach in one tool, no HeyReach seat on top
  • You want to pay credits per request (plus $29 a month only for extra LinkedIn accounts) instead of a monthly plan plus two kinds of credits

Questions

Is LinkFetch a Clay alternative?

For LinkedIn-led prospecting, yes: find companies from LinkedIn job posts, find the right people there, qualify them with AI and reach out from your own LinkedIn accounts, all asked for in Claude. For email and phone enrichment, no. LinkFetch doesn't find contact details, and Clay's provider waterfalls are the better tool for that.

Clay has an MCP server too. What's the difference?

Clay's MCP runs the Clay functions your workspace admin has enabled, such as enriching a domain, plus people and company search, and can't build or edit tables. What it can do beyond that depends on which functions your admin has built and enabled. LinkFetch is built around the MCP: LinkedIn reads and writes, from people search to connection requests, messages, comments and reactions, plus our jobs and company data, are tools Claude can call directly through your own accounts.

What does a Clay-style workflow look like in LinkFetch?

Describe it to Claude, for example: “Find Series A fintechs in Germany hiring SDRs, score them against our ICP, find the head of sales at the top ten and save them to a list.” Claude searches the jobs data, scores each company, searches people through your LinkedIn account and saves the list. To run it on every new match, save it as a flow in the dashboard.

Can I use LinkFetch and Clay together?

Yes. Keep Clay for email and phone enrichment, and use LinkFetch for the LinkedIn side: signals from job posts, finding the right people, and outreach from your own accounts. Lead lists export as CSV, and flows can post each new match to a webhook.

Does LinkFetch find email addresses?

No. LinkFetch works with LinkedIn only: profiles, posts, your inbox, jobs and company data. You reach people through LinkedIn connection requests and messages from your own accounts.
